Georgi and Graci
Georgi and Graci came to live with us about 4 months ago from a rescue situation. A pair of sweet gliders, Georgi is very laid back and calm, a real "gentle-soul", whereas Graci is scrappy and fussy. It took awhile and alot of work to get her to stop biting. They have been a welcome, enjoyable addition to my glider family. This page is a dedication to Graci, who was diagnosed with kidney disease on 9/17/2001. Graci is a sad but prime example of how poor diets can be fatal to the Sugar Glider.

Graci..isn't she a cutie?
Graci at playtime. Got any more treats?
Graci at her sweetest
Want a sweet glider to pose for you? Give her her favorite treat, a mealie! Graci was a little over weight when we got her, but has since slimmed down quite a bit.
Georgi
Such a laid back boy! He's just a little camera shy, but a very sweet glider.

More playtime pic's. Hide their treats in the castle and watch these two sniff them out in seconds flat! Here they are enjoying Crickets!! Yummy
More treats!
Mom is their best friend as long as crickets and mealies are around!
Graci loves her lickey treats!
Good licky treats are low-fat, no-fat yogurts and sweet, fruity baby foods such as Hawaian Delite or Fruit Medley. These are faves in our house. Want to make a friend of your glider? Lickey treats are a wonderful way to start.

This cage is 6ft tall, 3 foot wide and 2 ft deep. We have added a Wodent Wheel to it at the bottom for more exercise. Note the net stretched across the cage lower to the bottom. This is a safeguard for gliders slipping and falling to the bottom. Safety nets have saved my gliders from nasty falls a few times. You get the idea of a good-sized glider cage. With sugar gliders, you can never get "too" big, bigger is always better for these critters.
